Blitz Build

Habitat for Humanity is partnering with LGI homes and local trade partners to build
FOUR HOMES in ONE WEEK that will transform the lives of FOUR FAMILIES.

How it Works

Habitat MCTX, LGI Homes, and area trade partners will collaborate to build four (4) homes quickly and efficiently in one week in the all-Habitat-occupied Cedar Creek Subdivision. The homes will be built simultaneously in just five days.
Each participating trade partner is donating their time, materials, and their expertise to help build the homes. From start to finish, framing to inspection, everything that needs to be done to build a home will be completed within the time frame.
The homes not only mark Habitat MCTX’s first-ever Blitz Build, but they also mark the beginning of construction in the last section of Cedar Creek neighborhood before it is complete. The homes will provide strength, stability, and self-reliance to the partnering families.

When: Feburary 27 - March 4
Where: Cedar Creek Subdivision, Conroe TX 77301
Why: To bring trade partners together to bring awareness for the need for affordable housing in our community and to create homes that will provide a transformational change to four local families in Montgomery County.

Juanita

Danielle

Juanita and her three children currently live with her mother. She found out about Habitat Montgomery County through a friend who has volunteered in the Cedar Creek subdivision and decided to apply. Juanita and her family are excited to have their own home where they have the space to walk, ride bikes, and play. Read the rest of Juanita’s story

Danielle is a Certified Nurse Assistant and lives in Conroe with her five children. The family is
