Like many working mothers, Danielle wears many “hats” in the family. She helps care for her grandmother and mother in addition to raising her five active children. The family is currently living with her grandmother and make weekend visits to her mother in the countryside near Montgomery. She is a Certified Nurse Assistant, working as an aide at a local school. During the brief moments of quiet, she enjoys a good cup of coffee and watching movies.
Her daughter Siryia, enjoys choir, running club, and developing her artistic talents. Her son, Semaj’s favorite subjects are math, science, social studies, and PE. He also enjoys singing and sports. Son, Derrick likes playing MineCraft and football. And her two youngest children, Steffan and Keyshawn attend daycare together.
Danielle heard about the opportunity with Habitat from a friend already living in Cedar Creek. After applying 3 times, she succeeded! The whole family is looking forward to being a part of a community that has neighbors who look after one another and a home with more space and a yard.
