Juanita and her three children live with her parents in Conroe. She is also blessed to have a grandmother that lives nearby. Juanita works in Splendora at a metal works company, overseeing quality control. She loves decorating clothes, gifts, and items for their home with her Cricut machine.
Juanita’s two youngest children attend the same school near the Cedar Creek subdivision. When asked about their favorite subjects in school, Alberto was quick to reply “recess!” He also enjoys Math and P.E. Andrew enjoys reading and visiting the school’s library. Both boys are involved in karate and have also played soccer and basketball. Juanita’s older child, Angelette, enjoys math and science, and art. She plays the clarinet in the school band and loves to draw and design dresses. The entire family attends Grace Woodlands Church and enjoys all of the programs that the church offers.
At the urging of a friend who has volunteered in Cedar Creek, Juanita applied and was accepted in November 2021. She is excited to be a part of the Blitz Build project and has even met some of the other families that will also become homeowners and neighbors. The entire family is looking forward to having their own home and the space to walk, ride bikes, and play. There is also talk of adding a dog to the family in the future!
