We welcome individuals, corporations, community groups, faith congregations, and many more to give their time at our ReStore! By volunteering you are helping build strength, stability and self-reliance in Montgomery County, TX.
Flexible volunteer positions are available every Tuesday through Saturday in a variety of roles to help keep the ReStores running smoothly. Opportunities include cashiering, assisting customers, processing donations and more. We can find the perfect position that matches your interests and skills.

Volunteers at ReStore can assist with donation processing, cashiering, sales and customer service, merchandising, warehouse projects and much more!
You do not need any experience before volunteering at ReStore. You will learn everything you need to know, through ReStore staff and experienced volunteers.
Individuals wanting to do community service hours with Habitat Montgomery County must do so at our ReStore. Please call ReStore prior to signing up for a shift for more information and available opportunities at 936-441-5888.
Volunteer shifts are Tuesday through Friday
Half Day: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Full Day: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
If volunteering a full day shift, bring lunch and a reusable water bottle.
ReStore volunteers must be 17 years old or older to participate in volunteer activities.
Next Steps for new ReStore Group Volunteers
- 1. Reach out to Ida Weaver, ReStore Volunteer Coordinator, at volunteer-at-restore@habitatmctx.org, for group volunteer opportunities.
- 2. Group sizes are generally a maximum of 10 people, larger groups are possible with advanced planning
- 3. After your workday is set, a confirmation email with details is sent including times, location, parking, what to bring, etc. You will also be sent a VolunteerHub landing page link, where group members can individually sign up and sign our waiver. All group members must sign up and sign their waiver, prior to volunteering
