All applications must be submitted by November 6, 2025, along with all required supporting documents, to be considered.
How to Submit Your Application:

If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be forfeited. You may reschedule or place your application in the secure drop box located in front of our office.
Qualifications
- Your current housing is inadequate
- You have tried and are unable to obtain housing through conventional methods
- Issues with the present structure, water, electrical, heating system, or sewage services
- You live in overcrowded housing
- You must pass a criminal background check
Financials
- Evaluation of how much you currently spend on housing
- Your annual total income should be between 40-80% of the median income for Montgomery County
Habitat Partnership
- Attend at least one homeownership information meeting
- Contribute “sweat equity” to help build homes
- Complete financial counseling

Classes Include:
- Personal Finances and Household Budgeting
- Homeownership Management
- Home Repair and Maintenance
- Pest Control
- Lawn and Garden Care
- Fire and Home Safety
- Property Owner’s Association Membership
- Home Safety
- Construction Safety
